Hi, I'm Diana. The wearer of many, many hats. Mom, wife, daughter, sister, friend, homeschool teacher. home chef, total bibliophile.

For the longest time what I wasn't but what I wanted to be was a writer. I had my first blog back when Angelfire and Tripod were a thing! My original major in college was journalism...until I perused the starting salary for a journalist. I decided to go broader and get a degree in communications. 

With a BA in hand, I set out to take on the world. With the recession upon us, I took a job in the marketing department of a major dessert manufacturer where I spent 7 years describing cheesecakes and other desserts ad nauseum. (Side note - I have always disliked cheesecake. After 7 years of eating and describing it - pass me a brownie any day!) Life happened, I got married, had two kids, and dreaded going to my office job every day.

I took the plunge into being a stay-at-home mom. Which I quickly discovered wasn't enough for me. I started working with local businesses assisting in their marketing and copywriting needs as my schedule allowed. This segued into virtual assisting work that saw me helping clients across the world and working with companies like Samsung and the NFL along with ghostwriting articles and blogs for industry professionals across the United States Canada and the UK.

Suddenly, I was no longer dreaming of being a writer. I am a writer. It's not a job or a career for me. It's a passion. I love crafting a story and inspiring others with my words. It brings me such joy that I truly never feel like I'm working when I'm writing.

I hope I can share my passion and my love for words for years to come with businesses and readers near and far.
